Located within a unique spot in the Mediterranean surrounded by diverse scenery and rich cultural heritage, the site is defined by a natural hillside that connects the residential and hotel areas with the beach. theleisureway joined the project with the ambition of enhancing the customer journey for international families, transforming this landscape into a sustainable leisure destination where children and adults can unplug, explore, and recharge together.

Along the hillside, a series of play elements are seamlessly integrated into the topography, intentionally designed to blend into the surroundings. Conceived to complement —rather than disrupt— the stunning Mediterranean vegetation and the area's striking architecture, these natural structures disappear into the environment when not in use. Beyond its recreational value, this hidden playground activates the landscape with a global, interconnected approach, creating a successful family experience that coexists in perfect harmony with the natural beauty of Kaplankaya.

Inspiration and First Ideas

The design concept draws inspiration from the raw beauty and organic textures of the Mediterranean landscape, envisioning the creation of a seamless, living playground. The proposal introduces an engaging and immersive journey that guides visitors along a carefully designed descent down the hillside, connecting the residential areas with the sea.

To complement the premium offer of the complex, we proposed a space completely integrated into nature with activities for all members of the family, designed to disappear into the environment and preserve the stunning local architecture and vegetation when not in use.
