The Village, Indoor
Shopping Experience

Located in the north of the city, The Village is an upcoming destination in Jeddah. Spanning over 100,000 sqm over three storeys and a total build-up area of 208,000 sqm, the new mall will include a cinema, a hypermarket, a luxury hotel, an open-air promenade, 132 stores, 45 fine dining restaurants, a food court, a theme park and 16 other flagship stores.
In this project theleisureway was focused on creating a pleasant indoor environment for socializing, relaxing, and entertaining with the best atmosphere for customers; and to reinforce the leisure offer for families. Moreover, another of our main objectives was to create a link between indoor and outdoor areas concept through the pavement materials, colours and patterns, creating diversity, smooth transitions and sense of coherence in the whole mall.
La inspiración
In order to create the perfect transition between outdoor and indoor areas theleisureway proposes an immersive experience with “art & nature” as a source of inspiration. In this way, users will experience a sensory journey through the four seasons. Through the colours, pavements, landscaping and artistic bites, the user will feel the essence of each season and feel the urge to walk through the entire mall.
Finally, they will reach the main atriums where one timeless and one innovative art will be represented: origami and pixel. So while children will enjoy climbing and touring an iconic origami tree, the younger ones will be able to connect and socialise in the square and the hanging pixel cubes.
